Five South Dakota Farm Bureau members have been selected to participate in the Farm Bureau Leadership Experience.  Those selected are:  Kathy Guthmiller, Menno; Ken Hofer, Hitchcock; Jerry Runia, Estelline; Jason Reed, Faith; and JT Moon, Creighton.

The program is designed to help emerging Farm Bureau leaders broaden their perspective on the future of agriculture, develop their leadership skills, and build a network of Farm Bureau leaders.  Participants are scheduled to attend three different training sessions.  The first is next week (June 25-29) in Des Moines, Iowa, and will include Farm Bureau members from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Utah, and New Mexico.  The South Dakota participants will have a summer session on August 7 at the Farm Bureau Center in Huron.  The leadership class will conclude in Washington, D.C., September 10-13.
